LIMAB AB participated at the exhibition Tube 2014 in Düsseldorf, Germany

This year LIMAB presented our systems with films from installations all over the world. There was also a steel pipe explaining which types of measurements that LIMAB can provide. We had a lot of visitors from tube manufacturers, which lead to a lot of interesting discussions. There was also many of our existing customers visiting our stand.

LIMAB would like to take this opportunity to thank all the visitors at our stand resulting in many constructive discussions about our non-contact measurement system solutions. We noticed a huge and increasing awareness of high precision measurement, process- and quality control from tube and steel producers. There was a great interest in our straightness measurement solution, TubeProfiler S, from suppliers of tubes to the oil and gas sector.

LIMAB exhibited at the AISTech exhibition in Pittsburgh, USA May 6-9.

LIMAB’s Steel Division signs an exclusive distribution contract for the Japanese steel and non-ferrous market with Nittetsu Hokkaido Control Systems Co. Ltd (Trademark: nCS).

On the 31st of August 2102 the contract was signed in Muroran, Japan by Mr Masamichi Mizuno, President of nCS, Mr Ken Nomoto, President of Intocast JP, the agent for LIMAB in Japan and Mr Lars Granlund, CEO of LIMAB AB.

nCs, with a nation wide network in Japan, is going to perform sales work and provide engineering, turn-key projects and services of the LIMAB size and dimension laser measurement systems.

We are looking forward to a mutual and successful long term co-operation with nCS on the Japanese market.

LIMAB participated at the Iron & Steel Technology Conference and Exposition, AISTech 2012, in Atlanta, USA, during May 7-9

We had many visitors and interesting discussions about our dimensional measurement systems for the steel industry, i.e. the HotProfiler (bars, profiles), the TubeProfiler (tubes and pipes), The SlabProfiler (slabs) and WireProfiler (wires and rebars).

Last week, LIMAB was attending the International Trade Fair for the Tube and Pipe Industry in Düsseldorf, Germany. A lot of customers and partners passed by our booth and gave us a chance to present our laser and inspection systems for true dimensional measurements.

Our newly developed straigthness measurement system for tubes and pipes, the TubeProfiler S, was exhibited at the show. The TubeProfiler S is an on-line measurement system capable of measuring outer diameter, ovality, shape errors, length and straightness (both overall and local) of tubes and pipes. It is an excellent tool for the tube and pipe manufacturers to enhance their quality and process control. LIMAB is today the only company capable of offering this combined solution into one system.

We also presented our TubeProfiler, which measures the outer diameter, ovality, shape errors and length of tubes and pipes. The TubeProfiler has been installed in production lines by most of the world-leading tube and pipe manufacturers. For the measurement of strip thickness, we are offering our PanelProfiler.
